What were you doing when the application crashed? Right-click on a file and selection of "Properties" (not sure about the exact word in English, I use Czech locales) brought the crash twice. First time I killed Nautilus, it restarted and I tried it again. It again crashed and Bug Buddy appeared (the first time it did not). Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) Gnome Release: 2.16.1 2006-10-02 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 Memory status: size: 118779904 vsize: 0 resident: 118779904 share: 0 rss: 29921280 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1174633220 rtime: 0 utime: 254 stime: 0 cutime:236 cstime: 0 timeout: 18 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". I have to add, that it was not right in Home folder, but deeper in the directory tree (the title was created automatically) and that the file I tried to get properties of was an OpenOffice.org2 presentation document. Later I found the crash is triggered always and only by OOo .odp files. It is 100% reproductible on my system. I suppose there is an issue with my mime types settings or something like that, but still this should not send Nautilus down... Not sure where exactly to look for source of the problem, so please who is reading this recommend what additional conf or log files I should attach.
