Description Quentin van der Brempt 2007-03-18 13:27:26 UTC
When starting banshee I got an error. I compiled the newest version from source but still had the same problem. I found out people had the same thing but it was ipod-related in their case, and I don't need ipod support.
The error report:

An unhandled exception was thrown: The given key was not present in the dictionary.

Is this a problem with 0.13.1? Have you tried moving your banshee.db out of your banshee folder?

I solved the problem by deleting the music database.
On startup banshee made a new one it seems and I added my music to it again.
Instead of deleting it moving it to another directory like Andrew pointed out would probably have worked too.

Seems like I got so exited about banshee working again I forgot to mention how I got it to work back here though.

Actually, for what it's worth, this is a duplicate.
