Description Andrew Sayman 2007-03-15 20:56:19 UTC
Please describe the problem:
freedesktop/poppler has two dependencies: platform/gtk+ and freedesktop/poppler-data. platform/gtk+ requires freedesktop/cairo. This means that when you install poppler it will install cairo without poppler support.

desktop/librsvg has a similar problem where it requires freedesktop/cairo directly.

The only clear way I've found to work around this so far is to install cairo twice. Once to build poppler and librsvg, and then again after poppler and librsvg have been installed.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

GARNOME has not seen any code changes since 2008:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/garnome/log

This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived
in GNOME Git.
It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone
takes the responsibility for active development again.
