Currently there's no way to view the video in fullscreen, which would be interesting when you are in the final stages of your editing.

There should be a way to show the viewer in fullscreen with hide-able controls at the bottom.

In pitivi git, you can undock the previewer: http://jeff.ecchi.ca/blog/2010/11/25/detachable-previewer/

It's not exactly fullscreen but it can be maximized... but I guess there still needs to be a feature for "true" fullscreen?

I have a commit fixing this in my "viewer-fixes" branch at

I first thought I'd only use a keyboard shortcut (F11) for the undocked window, but after messing around with gtk's accelerators for a while, I reverted to just adding a pushbutton for this when the window is undocked (since we have more space). Besides, it's more discoverable anyway.
