Description Guillermo Espertino 2007-03-11 03:03:07 UTC
I think there are some aspects of the transformation tools that should be revisited. The transformation parameters windows always pop over the artwork, forcing the user to reposition it before starting to transform the layer.
It would be better if these windows are part of the tool options panel, and let the user to perform the transformations using the widgets on the artwork.

Another thing I find obtrusive is the presence of the original when transforming. I wouldn't say to remove the original, because it's a visual aid for the transforming process, but the original should be "grayed-out" (maybe lowering its opacity to a low value) in order to avoid visual cluttering and confusing shapes, mostly when the object to transform has solid fill.
