Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-03-09 18:40:37 UTC
The bug has been described on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/89010

"Binary package hint: evolution

Hi,

I need to do a filter witch will set a color and move the messages to another folder.

The problem is that the color is set but when the message move to the other folder, the color is reset.

Step to reproduce :

1. Create a new filter on any criteria you want
2. In action part, choose "set a color" and select for exemple red
3. Add a new action : "move to another folder" and save...

4. try to send a message that will match your filter...

Actual result :
The message in inbox is set to red, then move to the other folder. And the color is the default one...

Expected result :
The message should be moved to the other folder with the red color...

Regards
Mât"

That's not specific to the filter use, moving a mail with a color drops it the same way

Bumping version to a stable release.

I can confirm that this bug exists for me in Evolution 2.22.3.1
There are also other aspects of the filters system broken,
I feel that when someone fixes this bug, the others will appear obvious when they note the code is all broken. (maybe)
good luck!

Does it work if you first move and then set the color?
Comment 4 André Klapper 2012-02-27 10:49:13 UTC
Same issue as bug 620139. First move, then set the color should work.
