Other information:
This only happened once. It happened when i played a song from jamendo selecting a band. When jumping to the second song rhythmbox freezed and when clicking the song again crashed.
crash file is available.
I also reported the bug on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/85051
but now i am pretty sure it is a different issue.

It's not been the original 0.9.8 but patched with the patch attached here:
