Dear developers,

while it is possible to transform an e-mail into a task it is unfortunatelly not possible to transform an e-mail into a calender item. Why? Many people send dates without using ICAL attachments. For such situations it would be convenient to have an easy way to transform such e-mails to calender items in a semi-automated manner (times etc. have naturally to be adjusted manually, however the e-mail content + attachments should be transfered automatically).

what about the mail-to-meeting plugin ? Is it enabled on Ubuntu ?

Unfortunatelly this is still an issue with Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon Beta :-(

Could you please try in current stable 2.28.x and report back. Evolution has create an event option on right click pop up.
