Description Toni Ruottu 2007-01-23 23:10:18 UTC
Starting day of the week is currently changed by changing locales (I've been told).

I'm from Finland. I use GNOME in English, but do not wish to move to an English speaking country. In Finland week starts on Monday. The weeks starting from Sunday in the clock applet calender confuse me a lot. If I change my locales the language changes to Finnish, which I do not want. Changing locales is also hard for an average user.

This is why I suggest adding the clock applet preferences dialog, an option which lets the user select starting day of the week.
