Description pfudd 2007-01-22 04:23:38 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I found a real message in my "Junk" folder, and thought I should mark it as not being junk. When I clicked on the "Not Junk" button, it dissappeared, and I haven't found it since!

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to the junk folder
2. Select a message
3. Hit "Not Junk"

Actual results:
Message disappears (I think)

Expected results:
Message should appear as an unread message in my Inbox.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Perhaps it's appearing in my Inbox as a "read" message, somewhere in the middle of 'arrival time'-sorted mailbox. As there's 300+ messages in my Inbox, this is not conducive to ever finding that message again. Or it's just disappearing.

messages marked as junk are also marked as read (i totally dislike that). the trick would be to mark a false positive as unread and than as "not junk".
it should go into your inbox, yepp.
Comment 2 pfudd 2007-01-28 02:15:55 UTC
So, you need to do the unread-notjunk changes quickly; the message will be marked as read if you take too long?
Comment 3 André Klapper 2007-01-28 02:27:26 UTC
no, it's the same as when you set a read message to unread. it will remain unread. :-)
