Please describe the problem:
I am using pa_IN (Punjabi) desktop, while GPM is showing Box in Power History, 
some time more number of box then normal,



Steps to reproduce:
1. cRIght Click on GPM icon in notification Area
2.  Select  "Power History"
3.  check RIght side legand


Actual results:
Boxes are appearing on Legand

Expected results:
Punjabi should appear

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Attaching screenshot 
1->GPM  (pa_IN((default running) after login (some translation, but rendering is BAD for Punjabi, where it is shown without pango, but my language is using Pango)
2->GPM (en_US) showing 3 legands
3->GPM (pa_IN again) showing 3 lines of box

Hm, is the translation perhaps out of date? Could you check the po/<langauge.po> file and tell me if it looks okay in gedit.

yes, it is ok in gedit, all the translated words are appearing properly,

with following release version, boxes are fixed, but Rendering is wrong Only.

gnome-power-manager-2.17.90-1.fc7

so, Boxes issue was not there with give, but only Rendering

Very weird.  Richard, how do you render those texts?  Are you using cairo directly?  If yes, that's the problem.  Use Pango.

If you are already using Pango, I don't know what to say.
