Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-12-09 11:30:47 UTC
That bug has been described on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/72928

"Steps to reproduce:
 - open a movie file from nautilus with totem, close when done
 - open a image from nautilus with eog, close when done
 - gnome-panel: Places->Recent documents->Clear recent documents
 - the list in Places->Recent documents is now empty
 - open totem or eog: the files are still visible in the "File" menu!

Ubuntu 6.10, all updates applied."

That works fine for totem on Ubuntu feisty but not with eog, that's probably because eog needs to be ported to the new recently-used GTK API

This is already fixed in the eog-ng branch.
I am not sure if we manage to do a backport for 2.18 in time.
Comment 2 Lucas Rocha 2007-03-18 00:11:58 UTC
eog-ng branch, which has a full rewrite of eog's core, has been merged into trunk as part of 2.19/2.20 development cycle. Therefore this bug is fixed now. Thanks for the report!
