Please describe the problem:
Gthumb crashes when renaming two jpg images whose name hasn't the .jpg extension

Steps to reproduce:
1. rename a "*.jpg" file removing the ".jpg" trailing part

2. duplicate it (via right button contestual menu)

3. select the image and its duplicate

4. hit F2 in order to rename them -> crash

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

This is fixed in CVS HEAD, and will appear in 2.9.0.
