Description Hauke 2006-11-30 15:30:51 UTC
With a TwinView or Xinerama setup gthumb fails to open pictures in fullscreen mode on intended screen. In fact, when I open gthumb, select an image an press F11, gthumb chooses my main screen, but when I leave fullscreen mode an then go back to it, the other screen is chosen from then on. Placing gthumb main window on the other screen shows no effect, behaviour remains the same.
This actually worked in earlier versions, I think its broken since I upgraded to edgy. So perhaps this is a metacity issue since they worked on window placement a lot...

System is Ubuntu Edgy, gthumb 2.8.0, NVIDIA driver 96.29.

I see this issue also but I'm using Beryl, so not a metacity issue. I'm using 10.0.1.

I've submitted a patch in bug #327245 that fixes this.
I've tested on Openbox 3.4.4, Metacity 2.18.5, and Compiz 0.6.0
