Description Mahen 2006-11-30 11:20:49 UTC
This problem occurs with Ubuntu Dapper / Edgy, proprietary nvidia drivers, libxine, with _twinview_ enabled :

- a movie is displayed on the first screen (fullscreen mode)
- the mouse is moved over the second screen (empty desktop)
- it makes the progress bar appear in totem, on the first screen
- after a few seconds, the progress bar is not updated anymore, but remains visible if the video file does not cover the whole screen (not exactly 4/3, in my case)

Thanks for listening :)

Using xine-lib or GStreamer?
Comment 2 Mahen 2006-11-30 11:31:45 UTC

I was about to post the following, though it now seem useless :)

Some more details :

* if just using one monitor / screen, the problem also appears : open a movie
in fullscreen mode that doesn't entirely fit the screen, move the mouse. The
progress bar is displayed. Wait for a few seconds. It is not updated anymore
but still appears.

* when using two monitors and moving the mouse over the second one, the
progress bar is not removed and not updated either

Sorry for the duplicate report & thanks for your patience.
