What were you doing when the application crashed?
I plugged in my ipod, and tried acessing it from the file browser which was very slow

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but the maintainers need more information to fix the bug. Could you please answer the questions in the other report in order to help the developers?

The crash indicates that your ipod's database file is corrupt.  Please attach a copy of the files (iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB and iPod_Control/iTunes/ArtworkDB if it exists) to bug 358855.  iTunes will repair the database file.
