The current code in CcViewPNG should be renamed to CcViewImageWriter (or just CcviewWriter), it could have some configuration properties (root, zoom, filename, format, ...), one write method (using the filename) and one streaming function that can be used with a callback (maybe using a signal and being called when the filename is empty).

This should be pretty easy.

Criawips  development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few years now. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing bugs as WONTFIX. Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
