gnome doesn't support brightness manipulation. This thread start the process to incorporate this feature.

add brightness manipulation support to gnome-mag

To understand how this works read the modifications to the IDL file. There are enough comments about the input expected.

I also add a new option to test/control-client to test it. To use it type, for example: "#: ./control-client D 1 0 0"
