GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 369637
Entering SKR04 presents a window wider than the screen for no apparent reason
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:14:44 UTC
Please describe the problem: Hi, thank you for GnuCash! You guys are the best! Using r14936, downloaded from www.geole.info on Ubuntu Dapper. When creating a new GnuCash file with SKR04, the dialog window is wider than the screen. I cannot see why that is. Other account templates do not exhibit this problem. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start GnuCash in German via "LC_MESSAGES=de_DE.utf8 gnucash" 2. Create a new file with Ctrl + N 3. Press Forward twice. 4. Select "Kontenrahmen SKR04" from Kategorien Actual results: In 1024*768 (IBM Thinkpad) mode, the GUI extends very far to the left. The reason for this is not apparent. Expected results: GnuCash GUI should stay within the confines of the screen. Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
Sorry, I meant it extends to the right, not to the left.
Could you add a screenshot of when this happens? ("Create new attachment" below) Thanks.
Created attachment 75925 [details] Screen after activating SKR04 The window grows immensely in size and extends now over the right edge of the screen. Some parts of the window become invisible.
Created attachment 81905 [details] Shows the right side of the widow; I cannot shrink it to fit.
Per, thank you for your comment. I guess this bug can be set to confirmed now? Unfortunately, I lack the powers to do so.
I think this is not the case anymore with current GnuCash trunk. If you disagree, please reopen this bug.
My apologies for the late reply, I had taken some time off gnucash. I am happy to see that indeed this is fixed.
