GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 36928
gimp-perl doesn't preserve entered values
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gimp Version: 1.2.0 Name...........: Jim Mintha Email..........: jim@ic.uva.nl Platform.......: P3/256MB/Debian Linux GIMP Version...: 1.2.0 GTK Version....: 1.2.8 WM/Version.....: olvwm/4.0 --- Problem description: When using a gimp-perl script subsequent uses revert to the default values and not the last values. The _Previous_ button doesn't bring them up either. This used to work up until 1.1.29 or so. The values do seem to be preserved with non gimp-perl plug-ins. --- --- How to repeat: - Create a new image - choose a perl plug-in (for example Colors->Fire) - change the default values and apply - choose the plug-in again, the values will have reverted back to the defaults. --- --- Other comments: Looked everywhere, but I can't see anything about this. --- ------- Bug moved to this database by debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-01-28 11:07 ------- This bug was previously known as bug 36928 at http://bugs.gnome.org/ http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36928 Originally filed under the gimp product and general component. Unknown version 1.2.x in product GIMP. Setting version to the default, "unspecified". The original reporter (jim@ic.uva.nl) of this bug does not have an account here. Reassigning to the exporter, debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org. Reassigning to the default owner of the component, egger@suse.de.
Re-assigning all Gimp bugs to default component owner (Gimp bugs list)
Changes at the request of Dave Neary on the developer mailing list. I am changing many of the bugzilla reports that have not specified a target milestone to Future milestone. Hope that is acceptable.
Needs to be verified for 1.3.x
Gimp-perl no longer a component of GIMP. I cannot reproduce this with beta 1.3 gimp-perl either (though the particular script "Fire" is not yet working).
We should probably create a gimp-perl bugzilla project. Who wants to be responsible for this?
Responsible for creating the product in bugzilla, or responsible for the product once it's created? I could do the former, but we probably need someone who is familiar with gimp-perl to do the latter :) Dave.
Changing gimp perl bugs to new gimp-perl bugzilla module
Cannot reproduce. Fire script is no longer part of Gimp-Perl. If still a problem, please submit testcase.
