Description Mart Raudsepp 2006-11-01 08:28:19 UTC
The Usage Documentation in yelp documents Name, Directory, Type, Total and Used in section 3.12 "To Monitor Disk Space Usage", leaving 'Free' and 'Available' columns undocumented.
As these seem to mean exactly the same, this is highly confusing for an user.

After an user queried what's the difference, he got an answer from an ubuntu guy who read the source - "available is the space available for the standard user while free is total free space -- some filesystems like ext3 reserve space for the root user" (please verify - second hand knowledge).
