Description ds+gnobug 2006-10-27 18:27:32 UTC
This problem occurs when I start a new transaction by typing a few characters from a previous transaction and then accepting when gnucash auto-completes the description from a previous transaction and fills in the splits from that transaction. It does *not* occur when entering an entirely new transaction or when duplicating an existing transaction and then editing it, or when editing an existing transaction. Also, if I first save the auto-completed transaction by hitting enter, then come back and edit it, this problem does not occur.

If I try to delete a split from the new, auto-completed transaction, I get the following message:

"This transaction is already being edited in another window. Please finish editing it there first."

The message is untrue, as the new transaction only exists in the one place where I am currently editing it.

The first time this happened, gnucash crashed when I tried a second time to delete the split. However, I can no longer reproduce the crash; I just get the message above repeatedly now.

Also, going back to 2.0.1 the problem does not occur, so it seems to have been introduced in 2.0.2.
