What were you trying to do? A link to the file or URL you tried to play, for example.

I can't provide a link because it was to a file in an iTunes share which is only visible on the local lan. I know it's not the particular file because it doesn't work for any iTunes shares. When I get a chance I'll see what debug info I can get from Banshee.

Could you run banshee from the command line like this:

 $ export GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1
 $ export GST_DEBUG=*:5
 $ banshee 2>dbg.log
 ... now do whatever you do to produce the error, then quit banshee
 $ bzip2 dbg.log

and then attach the resulting dbg.log.bz2 file please?
