Description Andrew Conkling 2006-10-18 18:34:28 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I switch to the library, e.g. from a playlist, my CPU starts working hard and Banshee's UI freezes. I thought this was leading to a crash, but on 0.11.0 it seems to come back to life after 2 minutes or so.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Activate a playlist.
2. Switch back to the library.
3. Wait.

Actual results:
It seems that the library is being populated with my approximately 8000 songs--the scroll bar along the right jumps around a bit.

Expected results:
I would expect that the library doesn't need to be reloaded/repopulated

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
This is similar, and perhaps related(?), to bug 334001.
