GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 363134
--start-hidden not supported
Last modified: 2011-12-06 06:15:23 UTC
This is a feature requested by an Ubuntu user. You can find the original bug report at http://launchpad.net/bugs/66674 : "The man page of firestarter states that --start-hidden is supported. However, When i start firestarter with that option, It says that the option is not supported.I want firestarter to run automatically on every bootup. So i add `gksu firestarter --start-hidden' to my Session. Now if ther --start-hidden is not used, then the GUI will pop up and closing it each time is a PITA." It was verified that --start-hiden doesn't work with 1.0.3
firestarter development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few years now. I contacted Tomas Junnonen (majix@iki.fi) because he is listed as Developer on project page but didn't get any response. I found firestarter on fedora wiki [1] under deprecated packages so i am closing all the bugs as WONTFIX. Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development. [1] http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Deprecated_packages
