Description Saikat Guha 2006-10-08 19:20:32 UTC
Please describe the problem:
File on which bug appears: http://saikat.guha.cc/pub/sosp05wip-guha.pdf

Selecting a part of a paragraph or column highlights the expected text-range, however, once the evince window loses focus the entire right column is added to the selection. The loss is focus can be through an Alt-Tab, mouse-click in another window, or simply the mouse moving to another application with sloppy mouse focus enabled.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the document above
2. Select a part of the left column
3. Switch window focus away from evince

Actual results:
The entire right column is added to the selection automatically.

Expected results:
The text selection does not change in response to window focus events.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
