Description Leonardo Ferreira Fontenelle 2006-10-08 19:06:52 UTC
Version: 2.16.0

What were you doing when the application crashed?
Closing a Tomboy note, which would switching focus to epiphany. The only page opened in Epiphnay was a local html file with a lot of JavaScript (see TiddlyWiki.com).

There is another bug I reported*, maybe it could be considered a duplicate. Sorry, I didn't disable any plugins yet.

* Bug Buddy makes it incredibly convenient to report crashes; Gentoo has a "bug reporting guide" which tells us how to generate (hopefully!) significant backtraces. Nice combination!

Comment 1 Christian Persch 2006-10-08 19:19:09 UTC
Thanks for the bug report.

Looks like the sidebar extension is involved in the crash...
Comment 2 Leonardo Ferreira Fontenelle 2006-10-08 19:34:04 UTC
I'm not sure it helps, but currently I have no defined sidebar; at the time of bug 359736 I had a http://bugs.gentoo.org sidebar, IIRC.
Comment 3 Reinout van Schouwen 2006-12-17 17:04:23 UTC
Reporter, does the problem still occur?
Comment 4 Leonardo Ferreira Fontenelle 2006-12-17 21:47:58 UTC
It didn't happen again, unless we count with bug 359736, which is another crash I experienced with Epiphany Web Bookmarks.
Comment 5 Reinout van Schouwen 2007-03-14 22:02:59 UTC
Marking OBSOLETE, then. Please feel free to reopen this bug if it happens again with 2.18.
Comment 6 Reinout van Schouwen 2009-02-21 21:59:03 UTC
*** Bug 572671 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Comment 7 Reinout van Schouwen 2009-02-21 22:00:33 UTC
It looks like the problem is still unsolved, but as the mozilla backend is going away I'm not reopening this bug. I suggest removing the sidebar extension from e-e completely.
