What were you doing when the application crashed? I installed Beagle, pressed Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, logged in and went into deskbar preferences to enable Beagle search. As soon as I close the window this bug buddy caught the crash. Could you please answer the questions in the other report? This bug does not appear to be related to bug 355687, although the stack trace looks a bit similar. I need a way to reproduce this (and verify that this happens in 2.16.*).
Also, when you say "Beagle search" is the beagle live search where results flood in as you type or the static search where you select "Search for XYZ using beagle"...
