gnome-pilot 2.0.13 doesn't build with --as-needed

Please describe the problem: gnome-pilot needs a slight automake file change to build with --as-needed. Thanks for this info, and the link to an explanation. I haven't come across --as-needed before, so am a bit wary when I read: "Warning: At the time of writing, there are many packages failing in funny ways because of --as-needed as they weren't designed to be used with it. While there shouldn't be (note the conditional) problems such as crashes, this flag is not considered safe for production use and not supported in any way by Gentoo." So I'm going to mark this as an enhancement until I find out more about --as-needed. Ta.
