Description hardy.113 2006-10-02 19:37:22 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper)
Package: Evolution
Severity: Normal
Version: GNOME2.14.3 2.6.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: When event is edited, recurrance date is reset
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x
Description of Problem: Calendar event recurrance date is RESET when the
event is modified and saved for all instances.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create event with weekly recurrance until a date other than the
default (but take note of the default date)
2. Save event.
3. Re-open event. Change description or location, etc.
4. Save event (all instances)
5. Check calendar and notice that

Actual Results: The recurrance-until date is set to the default.

Expected Results: The recurrance-until date should be the date set in
the first place (not reset to the default).

How often does this happen? As far as I can tell, every time.

Hello, can you try to reproduce it with actual Evolution? Say at least 2.12.x, because I'm trying this with 2.22 trunk and it works as expected with file and Exchange backend.

What type of calendar are you using?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug; however, closing due to lack of
response of the reporter, sorry. if you still see this issue with a current
release of evolution (2.22.x or later), please reopen. thanks in advance.
