Description Anita 2006-09-29 09:44:26 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper)
Package: nautilus
Severity: Normal
Version: GNOME2.14.3 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: crash when selecting "send to..." in the Nautilus context menu
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Navigation
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.14.1)
Description:
Description of the crash:
I right-clicked on a file, chose "send to..." from the context menu and
the sendto application crashed. The file was resident on a vfat
partition.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Open a Nautilus window on a vfat partition
2. RIght-click on a file
3. Choose "send to..."

Expected Results:
Crash dialog appears

How often does this happen?
I tried it again, at it does not happen. What changed in the meantime
is that I configured Evolution to send mail: I defined the smtp server
and I added one address to the address book, which was empty, since
Evolution had never been used before.

Additional Information:
Maybe this bug happens only when Evolution has not yet been configured.
