GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 357096
Evolution Fails to display new messages in the Exchange Inbox, but Filters some of them anyways
Last modified: 2006-09-25 14:09:20 UTC
Please describe the problem: Starting with an empty Exchange Inbox, I waited for two messages to arrive from my coworkers. One arrived from a coworker for which I had no filter. I saw the message count go up, but no message was visible in the window. Then a second coworker sent me an email for which I did have a message filter defined, and the message was processed and moved to another folder. Eventually the message count displayed on the folder reached 5, but the message count on top of the folder list on on the Gnome panel both were still at zero. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use Evolution 2.6.3 + EvolutionExchangeStorage 1.6.3 2. Hook up to an Exchnage 6.5 Server 3. Empty your mailbox 4. Send email to yourself or wait otheer mail come in. Actual results: Watch the message count go up while nothing shows. Expected results: I would expect the new mail to show in the inbox, like when I used to use IMAP. Does this happen every time? Yup. Other information: I'll append to files to this report: log from env CAMEL_DEBUG=all E2K_DEBUG=5/usr/lib/evolution/2.6/evolution-exchange-storage and a PNG of my evolution window.
