Description Ben Bolker 2006-09-18 18:48:39 UTC
Please describe the problem:
most (all?) of the time when running evince out of a desktop,
I get "critical" error messages when closing it. e.g.:

(evince:30289): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_model_foreach: assertion `GTK_IS_TREE_MODEL (model)' failed

(evince:30289): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_clear: assertion `GTK_IS_LIST_STORE (list_store)' failed
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (!prev): 0x0b9102b0 ***

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a dvi or pdf file from the command line
2. close evince (File menu or clicking close-X box)
3.

Actual results:
evince works fine but produces "critical" error messages.
ugly!

Expected results:
I would expect not to see error messages when evince is
apparently working fine on apparently well-formed dvi
and pdf files.

Does this happen every time?
as far as I can tell
