GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 355969
Do not create a Trash folder on removable media
Last modified: 2006-09-14 15:13:14 UTC
Trash folders on removable media (like USB-discs, flash-cards, etc.) are very annoying because it takes up the limited space. You often want to remove all files because you need space for new ones and you forget that all your files were just moved into trash and you do not have free space at all. A possible solution is to put the trash folder for removable media in the user's home so it does not take up the limited space.
