Dear reporter,

there's no need to report a bug each time the tool crashes, with just reporting one bug the developers will take exactly the same care of it, and additionally you won't make the bugsquad guys work more than necessary.

Could you provide some info like?:

1) the output of the program, run it in a console and tell me if it spews errors.
2) whether your user is in the "admin" group.
3) the version of the gnome-system-tools package you're using. Is it the latest one?

Can somebody please help the developers to fix this bug by trying to reproduce
this crash with debugging packages of at least liboobs and gtk installed? See
http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces/DistroSpecificInstructions for more
information. Thanks a lot in advance, your help is appreciated!
Comment 23 André Klapper 2006-10-07 18:39:17 UTC
*all* bug reports have been submitted by the same person.
note to myself: this is NOT a frequently reported bug.
Comment 24 André Klapper 2006-10-08 13:06:35 UTC
i had sent a private email to the bug reporter and received an answer today (peter, thanks for the quick answer!) that this bug has gone after some ubuntu updates.
closing as fixed.

peter, the main point of my email was to ask you to not submit the same crash over and over again. regarding your further comments in your email (BCM4318), please submit a new bug report here in bugzilla for any wishlist items.
thanks a lot in advance!
