Description bloch 2006-09-04 19:08:59 UTC
After upgrading to 0.111, I downloaded new headers in all subscribed groups.

Pan seemed to take up an awful lot of memory (up to 1.4G virtual in top), which was surprising given the fixes in this release. More seriously, in several groups articles are listed twice, with exactly the same line count.

Please try out the patch in #354140 and add a comment
leting me know if it helps or not. Thanks.
Comment 2 Charles Kerr 2006-09-07 15:06:39 UTC
0.111 definitely has duplicate articles due to a sorting error
which is fixed by #354140.
Comment 3 bloch 2006-09-13 09:20:25 UTC
I'm afraid this bug still seems to be present in 0.112. I've just downloaded new headers and there is intermittent, but widespread, duplication of articles.

Alen's provided some information on this too, and I've figured out the problem (though not the solution, yet.)

marking as a dup and cc'ing you to the other ticket...
