GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 354116
Ugly frame around send/receive mail dialog
Last modified: 2013-08-26 11:01:29 UTC
Ubuntu bug: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/58661 I've looked at the code and couldn't see why there was a shadow around this area (setting GTK_SHADOW_NONE on the viewport and the scrolled window made no difference) Is this a purposeful change? Obviously it's a subjective matter, but I think unnecessary frames always look ugly.
frame is needed to become scrollable when somebody has 300 accounts. :-/ *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 335241 ***
I've written GTK apps that have scrollable views without visible frames though, is the frame purposeful or is that just a side-effect of it being made scrollable?
that's not a duplicate, reopening
sebastien: yepp, just was about to do the same... :-) srini: comments?
Bumping version to a stable release.
Frame is gone in 3.8 under gnome-shell. Closing.
