Description Sean Bryant 2006-08-29 17:44:59 UTC
gnome-terminal should allow the user to select colors for the bold variants of foreground and background text.

Right now users are stuck with the bold version of their forground and background colors.

In other terminals (e.g. Konsole) you can select the regular colors for background and foreground as well as the bold versions of the colors. This allows you for example to select a white and black color scheme, and for the bold foreground color you can select a gold. An excellent example of this would be when you view a man page. Bold sections would now be in a gold color.

I at least find this a useful feature.
