Description Tijmen Ruizendaal 2006-08-29 10:08:01 UTC
When opening a link on a website in a New Tab, referer's are not sent. Loading the link in the same tab does send referers.

Steps to reproduce:

go to http://the-timing.nl and open the W3C|XHTML1.0 button link in a New Tab and in the same window. This will open the W3C XHTML validator.

The W3C page in the New Tab will complain about not having recieved any referer information, while the page in the same window shows the page is xhtml strict. So it did recieve referers when loading in the same window, not when loading the page in a new tab.
