Description Denis Leroy 2006-08-23 14:20:25 UTC
For some reason the --enable-demos AC_ARG_ENABLE was commented out from the configure.in file in the 2.10.0 -> 2.10.1 transition.

Now I can remove demo manually from the RPM Spec file, but I think it's cleaner to leave the option in. The demo executable is a problem when packaging gtkmm because no distribution will accept a package that provides /usr/bin/demo as it'll be considered "name pollution".

thx!

ahh, I didn't realize that the demo was actually installed. I disabled it temporarily because it was causing gtkmm to fail `make distcheck` for some reason. I was planning to re-enable it when I had time to examine why it was failing. I'll look into it now. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I've re-enabled the option. It turns out that it was all due to a stupid user error. Sorry about that.

No problem, this was a minor issue. Thanks!
