After creating a new invoice and setting a previous date for the date of opening the invoice, the invoice entry window itself has a default date of today. When the invoice is being created "after the event", the default date of the first entry in that invoice should be the date that the invoice was opened.

This problem has been fixed in the development version (r19134). The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
