Description wout.van.heeswijk 2006-08-16 12:22:43 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When importing pictures into f-spot the modified date is reset. This means that most file managers, including nautilus, cannot sort the pictures on the date the picture was taken.

Steps to reproduce:
1. import pictures
2. view them with nautilus
3. sort by date

Actual results:

Expected results:
Sorting of the pictures by the date they where taken.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
I know it's a lack of foto managemnt functionality in file manager. But I think it should be at least optional to reset the time.
