What were you doing when the application crashed? Activated the 'Ipod Support' plugin in Rhythmbox. What version of rhythmbox are you using? Please set the version field in the bug.
This looks like either we're passing the wrong device path to libgpod, or a libgpod bug. Can you check what version of libgpod you have, and also what model iPod do you have connected?
