Description John Kraal 2006-08-08 16:13:14 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Whenever you've opened a new tab, and close it so the tabbar dissappears, the heigt of the terminal is increased becauses there is no compensation for the tabbars height.

Steps to reproduce:
1. ctrl-shift-t
2. close the tab

Actual results:
A new tab opens and closes leaving an enlarged terminal

Expected results:
the terminal keeps it size and only the tabbar disappears (ie, stay at 80x24 instead of growing to 80x26)

Does this happen every time?
Yes

The release I built from was actually about a week ago, from the Gentoos (at that time) recent portage. Problem occurs in every WM/DE
