GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 350254
Add chronojump to Bugzilla database
Last modified: 2006-08-27 00:45:00 UTC
Hello, I want to add project 'chronojump' to the Gnome's Bugzilla database. All info of Chronojump can be found here: http://gnome.org/projects/chronojump Here you have the last release: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/chronojump/048/ Project is also listed here: http://www.gnome.org/projects/ I want to use Bugzilla for feature requests. In the future, i will use it also for real bugs. Thanks
Sorry, is there any problem? it's taking a lot of time. Is for the summer? Thanks
Nope, just overloaded and things tend to slip through the cracks. Thanks for the reminder; I've created the product now and marked you as a maintainer, though it currently has no components yet. To finish the product creation: Please go to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/editproducts.cgi?action=edit&product=chronojump, and add at least one component. I've created a chronojump-maint@gnome.bugs alias. Please use it for the default assignee for new products, and then have all parties interested in receiving bugmail go to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email and add that new alias to the comma-separated "Users to watch" box at the bottom of that page. Once you've created a component, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=chronojump should automatically be functional. :-)
And... is there any way to do this: "Everytime a bug is added or has changed, an email has to be sent to one of our mailing lists". Thanks again
Olav (bkor on irc) may have a better solution, but you can create a bugzilla account for the mailing list, and have the mailing list watch the chronojump-maint@gnome.bugs alias. Alternatively, we could just change the email address of the chronojump-maint@gnome.bugs alias to actually be the existing mailing list.
