GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 349715
Unnecessary tab positions in "unsaved changes" dialog
Last modified: 2006-08-05 10:20:19 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/54948 "If you have unsaved changed in a document when you try to close gedit, you get an "unsaved changes" dialog warning: Save the changes to document "Unsaved Document 2" before closing? If you don't save, changes from the last minute and 46 seconds will be permanently lost. [ Close without Saving ] [ Cancel ] [ Save ] If you try to use tab to navigate between buttons, you'll find that the focus also goes to the first text paragraph (before the S) and the second text paragraph (before the I). This is, of course, entirely useless, as the text is unchangable. The tab focus should only go between the 3 buttons."
comment from the ubuntu bug: "This isn't specific to gedit. The exact same thing happens in similar dialogs with sound-recorder, mousepad, nautilus, xchat-gnome, so i'm thinking it's a gnome dialog bug." reassigning to GTK, edgy has GTK 2.10.1, the same issue happens with gtk-demo "Message Dialog" by example
