s/polyp./pulse.

No backward compatibility in this patch (probably unnecessary)
Comment 2 Kjartan Maraas 2006-08-07 12:40:47 UTC
I took the liberty to commit this since it was approved.
Comment 3 Jens Granseuer 2007-02-01 23:04:36 UTC
We'd like to change the name to "PulseAudio Sound Server" only in control-center, dropping the spurious "Pulse - " at the beginning (see bug 394003), and the same treatment would be nice for gstreamer-properties as well. Any objections from the gnome-media crowd?
Comment 4 Ronald Bultje 2007-02-01 23:25:50 UTC
Yeah sure, who added that anyway? :-).

rename to "PulseAudio Sound Server"

Great. Not sure if you want a patch, but here it is anyway.
Comment 6 Ronald Bultje 2007-02-01 23:39:36 UTC
Good for my patch statistics. :-).
Comment 7 Marc-Andre Lureau 2007-02-02 13:19:33 UTC
Yeah, it's just that it does not fit with the rest of the list :)

(and "Pulse" is a S. King virus, for the record)
Comment 8 Jens Granseuer 2007-02-02 16:37:38 UTC
The other entries are well-established acronyms. Pulse isn't.

Patch committed and string change announcement sent.
