Description Eric Anderson 2006-07-15 15:59:10 UTC
When I open a file with a very long line with word-wrap off, X dies. I expect that this is an X bug or limitation and not a gedit bug, but I figure this is a better place to start.

Viewing the source of http://ejona.ersoft.org/recent/ should reproduce the problem.

Why is this bug still unconfirmed? It is not that hard to test this... Or perhaps all developers are on holiday?
Comment 3 Paolo Borelli 2006-08-10 20:18:34 UTC
Yes, this is a known issue: gtktextview can't deal with such long lines... I can't find the exact duplicate bug right now so I'll mark it as a dup of
