GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 347196
Get color of selected text
Last modified: 2018-09-11 19:53:36 UTC
There is no way of knowing the color used to "select" text (not highlighted text, gettextproperty can be used for that .. Text is selected using edit->select all, or placing cursor at start of text and using "Shift + ->" or "Shift + End" .. Text is highlighted in gedit by searching for it or some other way).
sorry i messed up the title :-) .. It is actually to get color used to select text
