GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 346652
Aisleriot crashing when changing a game
Last modified: 2012-01-31 23:24:29 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the aisleriot / Freecell 2. Try to select a new game 3. Sometimes it'll be ok, but in like 80% it will crash! Stack trace: Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper) Package: gnome-games Severity: critical Version: GNOME2.14.2 2.14.x Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: Aisleriot crashing Bugzilla-Product: gnome-games Bugzilla-Component: aisleriot Bugzilla-Version: 2.14.x GDB report: Backtrace: In /usr/share/sol-games/sol.scm: 480: 0* (if (defined? (quote card-guardian)) (letrec (# #) (catch # # ...)) ... ) 481: 1 (while (card-guardian)) In unknown file: ... ?: 2 [catch break #<procedure #f ()> #<procedure #f v>] ?: 3* [#<procedure #f ()>] ?: 4* [continue] ?: 5 (or (not (card-guardian)) (begin (begin) (continue))) ?: 6 (begin (begin) (continue)) ?: 7* (begin) <unnamed port>: In procedure begin in expression (begin): <unnamed port>: missing or extra expression Program exited with code 02. Other information: I couldn't get a stack, no matter what I did. I also noticed that it takes quite long time to load the program when "paris" card style is selected.
I installed a 1.40 CVS version of sol.scm and it fixed the crashing!! :)
This was fixed with the release of gnome-games-2.14.2.1

This bug is being reassigned to the "general" component so we can close the aisleriot bugzilla component. Apologies for the mass email!
